Hello, I'm Sahnda, the creator, owner, designer, and photographer behind Wildwood Poppy.  Originally from Northern Minnesota I now reside in sunny southern California.  I'm married to a Fire Captain and we have three children that I homeschool while trying to squeeze in a little "me time", aka crafting/sewing.
I find inspiration everywhere, especially in nature.  I usually find myself drawn to colorful, floral fabrics from designers such as Amy Butler and Echino.  My love of fabric and being creative goes way back to my mother making me barbie clothes and finding my Grandmother's vintage fabrics and making hair bows for myself when I was a young girl.  I eventually learned to sew in my high school home economics class.  I fell in love with sewing and have been creating ever since.
My newest crafting obsession is is paper crafting and learning Adobe illustrator. I'll be sharing more soon here about my progress and my creations.
I love finding beauty in everyday and hope that you will enjoy following along with me as I blog about what I'm making, tutorials, recipes, family, and more.
